The Lechweg offers a unique nature experience, shaped by one of the last wild rivers in Europe - the Lech. The hiker accompanies the Lech for about 125 kilometres. From its source near Lake Formarin in the Arlberg region to the Lechfall in Füssen!
Depending on your condition, the long-distance hiking trail can be walked in 5-8 days, the Jägeralpe is your ideal accommodation in Warth am Arlberg. With 4 certified hiking guides in the house we can give you the best tips for your hiking experience!
If you like it cosy, Warth is the ideal starting point for the theme trail, because you can hike 4 stages of the Lechweg from here without carrying luggage and looking for new accommodation every day. You also enjoy the advantage of receiving the Lech-Card for 2 or more nights, with which you can use the mountain railways and also the buses between Warth, Lech and Steeg free of charge.
Follow in the footsteps of the ancestors of our region and discover the themed trail "in the footsteps of the Walser", which connects the villages of Lech, Warth and Schröcken. The accompanying book, which has a lot to tell you about the numerous stations, is an excellent companion. Also new is the Geo-Caching round on this hiking trail.
